They play the Blues tonight who are in a 3 in 4 with the last 2 on the road. Although they have never beat the Blues, tonight they may have a chance. I figured the Thrashers to be around +170...but they are sitting around +145.

Atlanta has cost me the most $$'s this year, so I guess I'll never learn

....will wait on the starting goalies & some other info before I decide to side with them tonight.

Will also be thinking of getting on them against Ottawa in 2 days, as the Sens are in a 3 in 4 BTB all on the road...a great set up!!

I think the Thrashers will win one of these games...The game against Ottawa may seem like a stretch right now...but if the Sens excact some revenge (which I think they will) on Wednesday against Florida for the beating they got tonight by the Bolts, they may just overlook the Thrashers before they head home for the weekend (Buffalo game) before heading out on the road again!

3 in 4 plays are a play against the road team when they play 3 games in 4 nights with the last 2 back to back (on the road), record for the home team is 64-30-10 this year.

Also, dont put lots into the overall record of the 3 in 4 angle, some lines would have been passed as they were to steep to play.

Maybe, also watch out to see if Belfour starts tonight for the Buds against Philly....I bet Eddie would like to stick it to Hitchcock once again. Don't know about a side, but the total may be worth a look.

Kidd banged up, so if Eddie doesn't dress it may be the rook in net tonight for the Leafs, but I think The Eagle will be in.

Last 14 back to back road games for the Blues. 9 losses, 3 wins and 2 ties. Add a Blues lookahead to Chicago and Atlanta looks like value.

I agree with your play On Atlanta tonite. Not excited about playing the Thrashers, but given the situation, they are worth a shot. They've won 4 of their last 6 games and have played reasonably well. I like that Hartley is their now as this is one coach that knows what he's doing, and can only benefit a young team. Anyways, we've got Stlouis who is playing their 3rd in 4 nites, 4th in 6 nites, 5th in 8 nites, 6th in 10 nites, 7th in 11 nites all the way up to 9th in 15 nites. They played last nite and won in Carolina, so it's also back to back on the road for them. Over that 9 game span, 7 of them were on the road, and they've been at both ends of the country doing the traveling. Really, really tough scheduling spot for the Blues in Atlanta, and they also have conference rival Chicago on deck. Taking a shot with the homedog, and got +170 last nite.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Belfour still out....

From the Leafs site....

The Toronto Maple Leafs put their hopes in the pads of young goaltender Mikael Tellqvist as they try to extend their home unbeaten streak to 14 games in a matchup with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Thanks for the compliments guys!! Niatross, nah I was actually figuring on Freddie playing a better game then he did and had the score at 3-2, hoping an EN would not push it
